I love this movie so much I had to own it! Steve Carell is very nearly as good as Don Adams was in this role, and that's saying something. If you grew up with the series (as I did) you should see this movie.

I must say, having had to watch Get Smart as a kid (as it was my brother's favorite TV show), I was not disappointed in the movie. Some of the lines were a bit trendy (I know, reaching a younger audience) and the movie could have punched in a few more comedic one liners - in general, but for the most part, I honestly enjoyed the movie. Good to see Hyme again (is that how he spells his name?) Way to go 99 - you look great. And Smart, brilliantly capable as always, even if by error.
