If you like Japanese films, you will really enjoy this. A story is romantic but in a bittersweet way where the characters in love never quite connect. There is the common Japanese theme of different factions plotting and competing for power interspersed with stylistic and dramatic sword play. Also shot in a very pleasing artistic manner characteristic of this type of Japanese film. Well worth watching.
