I went and saw My Name is Bruce at a theater during it's tour. Bruce Campbell did a Q&A afterwards, it was great. This movie is hilarious. Watch the movie and just try to get that Guan-di folk song out of your head. I realize the villain is cheap looking, kind of lazy, and not very scary - but the movie is really carried by Bruce Campbell's comedic genius. The guy has so many one liners. The movie is set in fictional real life, so it's funny to see him groping women and drinking booze out of a doggy dish. Great stuff, I'll be adding this to my DVD collection for sure.

I like Bruce Campbell, so I expected a quick witted, clever, slightly irreverent, entertaining comedy. This move, not so much. The continuous bad language was unnecessary, the plot had a huge hole in it, and on the whole, this movie was toooo predictable.

I am a die-hard Bruce Campbell fan. I remember "Brisco County" and I love "Burn Notice"! He is talented, handsome, and so much fun to watch! But... this was not his best work. It did indeed have great moments of levity that made me laugh. The storyline was interesting. Some of the supporting actors were not very good. I would watch this again if there was nothing on TV to watch that day or night. But I would not make plans to watch it. I am still looking forward to more of Bruce's work. I love him!
