This is a great, suspenseful Korean movie about a female detective who teams up with a newly arrived forensics specialist to determine who is killing various men around town. Although the movie clocks in at 98 minutes, so much happens onscreen that it felt more like two hours. There were quite a few places in the movie where something didn't make sense, so listening to the commentary and watching the deleted scenes features will shed some light on some, but not all unclear parts of the storyline. The only negative was that the budget for the ghosts seemed low. As for extras, there's a "The Making of Arang" feature (34:24 min), a "Behind the Scenes" feature (29:33 min), an "Interview with the Cast" feature (3:13 min), an "Interview with Music Director" feature (13:25 min), a "Deleted Scenes" feature (12:58 min) containing ten scenes, a trailer for the movie and trailers for five other Tartan movies. Despite the DTS audio option, the sound came across as stereo. Definitely recommended.
