This was a great film! I am proud to see a Mexican film with meaning and an actual message behind it. Although, I truly wished it was less bulgar in language, I will say that it was quite depictive of true life and the struggles of an immigrant coming over across the border. Furthermore, I am pleased to say that the actors were truly awesome. In particular, Brett Patnode, whose name does not appear in the cover credits, was definitely the most memorable and furthermore, the one actor who brought the story together.
I have seen this film a couple of times. It surprises me that the audience does not think about the meaning of the film and about so many Mexican cultural symbols.
I really recommend this film to all Latino and Other audiences, but I have to say that if you see this independent film you have to think and analyze it so that come up with a thoughtful interpretation.
pura basura! What a mediocre movie, directors and actors included. This movie is a cheap version of any Mexican movie. It had a nice plot but poorly executed. The acting was cheesy and unreal. The story line is always the same on these kind of movies, sad story, vulgar and girls that look like prostitutes.. el que no ensena no vende⦠Now the directors are two amateurs that obviously have no talent or experience. Next time you do a movie, waste money and hire a real director and real actors and you may have better luck. Don't waste your 5 dollars on this garbage...
