Very real, very emotional to watch. A company of marines from Ohio is sent to Iraq to fight for a populous that doesn't care one way or the other who is in charge. Their frustrations and casualitites are documented via footage shot by the marines themselves.

This is an excellent compilation of videos from the Marines of Lima Company. It taps into the mixture of emotions and stress that accompanies a combat deployment. With a unique story, Combat Diary is a platform for the Marine's of Lima to tell their story. The film makers did well to keep their views out of the film.
