Miles (Grant Shaud) wears himself to a frazzle when, in addition to his "FYI" duties, he takes on the challenge of revamping "Next Wave", a failing newsmagazine hosted by resident airhead Miller Redfield (Christopher Rich). Unfortunately, Miles is too busy to pursue his romantic relationship with Corky (Faith Ford), thus giving the rapacious Redfield what he thinks is a clear field.
