This classic movie is not for politically correct people by no means. It is very violent, racist vulgarity but a good movie. A group of white prisoners escape and terrorize people. They eventually end up at a black minister's home and that is where the true excitement begins.
Many people may label this movie as racist. It does involve some racist characters, but the overall tone of the movie is to confront the racism that undeniably exists in American culture, especially in the early 70's. This movie is definitely not for everyone, but those who believe racism should be confronted and expelled like pus from an infected wound rather than covered up with political correctness will be surprised at how good this "B-movie" actually is.
