These British procedural films, adaptations of novels by the wonderful P. D. James, are truly outstanding. The only quibble I have is that the sound sometimes seems a little mushy, and that, coupled with the sometimes thick British regional accents, make it difficult to understand the dialog. They would benefit enormously from sub-titles, which alas they lack.
