Two hard-edged horror films from the 1980s are given a well-executed release on this double-feature DVD from MGM. Both The Attic and Crawlspace have been transferred to disc in letterboxed format at the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and have been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. Both films are in Dolby Digital Mono, with English dialogue and optional subtitles in English, Spanish, and French. Well, I rented this movie to see Crawlspace....I finished the double feature liking The Attic. Go figure. Either way neither are really that good. Horrorhound magazine....really....I mean, really....needs to rethink their top 10 most underrated slashers. Blah....skip it....there's better out there than this so so film.

"WELL-EXECUTED"? Oh please. It was sophomoric drivel. At least the first few minutes were, and that's all I needed to see to pronounce judgement. What a waste of time.
