Well, the creators of "Ramar of the Jungle" have finally convinced me. The most dangerous animals in the jungle aren't lions, tigers, lizards, or snakes. The most dangerous animals are white people! They aren't there in search of prey but, instead, jungle riches - maps to lost treasures and every kind of loot imaginable. The chief propoent of this view on Volume 6 of "Ramar" was Sherman Lowe. Of the four stories on this disc, he helped to write the teleplay for two and he wrote both the original story and the teleplay for a third, entitled (you guessed it) "White Savages."
That said, it is great fun to watch these old "Ramar" programs from the 1950's and the biggest kick of all is in recognizing scenes that I last saw so many years ago.
