well what can i say about year 2889. i had a chance to watch it on cable and i must say in all fairness the movie wasnt that bad, even thou the sound did fade in and out in some parts of the movie,as for the acting it was pretty good and the plot was ok too. but even thou the monster in the movie looked like a guy with a big rubber head mask and rubbery hands running around it didnt ruin the movie not one bit. So the you have it folks if you like low budget films take it from me you wont be disapointed

As horror movies goes, pretty bad. I was happy to see Tommy Kirk in a movie again, but was sad to see how poorly it was made. A monster is found, looks like the picture you see, not very scary or realistic. Even though I was looking for an old fashion horror flick, I have to admit, it was a pretty bad flick.
