Part 3 of this five part series on the films of Ray and Charles Eames centers on a project the couple undertook for the American Bicentennial in 1976. The three films give the viewer an opportunity to observe how this highly creative team used the film medium to model their project ideas. The Eameses chose the lives of Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson to exemplify the spirit of their era in American history. The film , "The World of Franklin and Jefferson", is a collage of images from colonial times, featuring the achievements of these two famous American figures. The working model, the final film production, and a documentary of the actual opening of the exhibition, comprise this three film series. ~ All Movie Guide
