My son, Alex, who is 3 just loves "Nick Jr.'s charming children's television series, THE BACKYARDIGANS." It is described as a "fun blend of vibrant computer animation and energetic musical sequences." The series is "aimed at preschool children ages 2-5, the series centers around five colorful animal friends who transform their yards into magical fantasy lands that serve as backdrops for their musical adventures." Every single episode features a new genre of music. You never know what the music will be as Uniqua, Tyrone, Tasha, Austin, and Pablo "break into song and dance with well-crafted original music and fanciful choreography." Backyardigans videos are interactive that foster creative thinking and physical movement. This volume presents two more fun-filled episodes: "Cave Party" and "Race Around the World." My son really loves Race Around the World. He even goes around the house singing, "Tah dah!"

I have a seven year old son and a 17 month old daughter. Both love the Backyardigans!! The music and colors are very appealing to my daughter and my son loves the stories. Good lessons to be learned!!
