MGM slices up a double feature of terror with The Oblong Box/Scream and Scream Again. Each of these films is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and looks generally very good. Aside a few inherent age problems (some softness in the images and a tad bit of dirt on each transfer), both The Oblong Box and Scream and Scream Again's picture qualities are very passable and a solid effort by MGM. The soundtracks are presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono in English and aptly support each respective film. The sound mix for both films features little in the way of directional effects, though each sports clear dialogue, music, and effects. Also included on this disc are English, French, and Spanish subtitles for each film. The only supplements tacked onto this double-feature disc include a theatrical trailer for The Oblong Box and a second trailer for Scream and Scream Again. ~ Patrick Naugle, All Movie Guide
