Lifetime Network movie based on a true story of Linda Cavanaugh, accused of murder by her daughter-in-laws. The story is well-acted, with a slight low-budget edge. Linda is an interesting character. Kept me interested from start to finish. There are interviews with the actors and director which are interesting extra features.
This movie (Lies....) is like having a root canal--nothing pleasant about it. It made me uncomfortable from the start, and I got to the point where I said to myself, "Who needs this?" The "mother" in this drama is a liar, thief and manipulator. She makes everyone who comes in contact with her miserable. Including me. It felt good to hit the "eject" button on my DVD player. This isn't drama. It is just pain.
