In hopes of assuring Rory (Alexis Bledel) the best graduation day possible, Lorelai begins attending Chilton's booster-club meetings -- only to come face-to-face with former fiancé Max (Scott Cohen). Meanwhile, Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) is given some bad news by Principal Merten (Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs); and Lane (Keiko Agena) wonders how to keep her mother from finding out that her band has been booked for a "kegger."
