When the bachelor and bachelorette parties for Zach (Todd Lowe) and Lane (Keiko Agena) respectively fall through, the couple is forced to improvise. Informed by Lane's tradition-bound mother that she will have to have an escort at the wedding, and with Luke out of town, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) attends the ceremony with Christopher (David Sutcliffe).
