This movie is 91 minutes, made in 2005. It seems to be made by a second rate film company, low budget kind of stuff. It features interviews with members of Castaneda's "inner circle", men and women he was teaching, a group of about forty, starting in the late seventies, until his death in 1998. Of the forty, about 5 or 6 are shown in the film, in addition to some authors of books about the Cataneda phenomenon. Both pros and cons are represented. It seems that everyone was filmed in front of a blue screen, as there are "psychedelic" computer graphics behind everyone and throughout the film. Being a big fan of Castaneda's books and teachings, I found the film mildly interesting.
This movie was obviously produced as a documentary covering people who were close to CC. This is not a movie about the books or the writer, but more commentary from those who took courses and there is very little information regarding anything else. The colorful backgrounds are for those who are stoned. The comments will probably bore you to death unless you really care about opinions.
