Rendered comatose for 20 years after a freak breakdancing accident, former child dancer Justin Schumacher (Jamie Kennedy) awakens from his extended repose with no motor skills and the mental capacity of a 12-year-old. So much has changed since Justin lapsed into a coma; not only have people stopped wearing parachute pants, the Internet has connected people in a manner that no child of the 1980s could have ever imagined. Dancing, however, is the one constant that remains as popular as ever. Upon discovering that his mountainous medical bills have drained mom and dad's bank account and the love of his life (Maria Menounos) is engaged to his lifelong nemesis (Michael Rosenbaum), the breakdancing Rip Van Winkle attempts to reassemble his former dance troupe in hopes of winning back the girl and saving his parents' failing yogurt shop. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I have not laughed that hard in years. but i will say, if you did not grow up in the 80's you may not find things as funny as those of us who did. We were laughing so hard i was crying !!!! our group had the best time but we all grew up in the 80's and got every punch line and every ref. to the 80's. some of the other people were laughing just as hard in the theater and some were not at all.. those who were not,,, were teens... they just didnt GET IT!!!! If you love the 80's and want a movie to bring back some great memories This is it!!!

Wow whoever is giving this movie bad ratings must be retarded themseleves. This movie was so flippin funny! It had a good idea and turned it into a funny creative movie. I was born in the 80's so it was funny to see it come back to life now. I think who ever is rating this badly was not around in the 80's to understand our generation.. i think they need to do some research. Dont believe the crappy ratings.. this movie is great!! It is super funny.... all the way to the end of the movie!
