Terrible movie. I rented this for 2 reasons: I like the stories of Edogawa Ranpo (a sort of Japanese Edgar Allen Poe), and I liked the original 1969 "Blind Beast" (or Moju). The 1969 version was a good, dark, psychosexual film--well worth seeing. This one is HORRIBLE. Bad acting, butchered story, and the camera work reminds me of a grade schooler with a camcorder. Don't waste your time with this one. Seriously. Don't. You have been warned.
