...and I'm rather surprised. There are, to be sure, some gems here in their sketch comedy. But now that I've thought about it, nothing really memorable. I guess after the high lunacy of the Jeeves series, I had expected more out of these two. However, this series is uneven, and for all the high points there are some moments that leave one scratching the head and not laughing (as opposed to Python moments where one both scratches AND laughs). Still, it's worth a visit.

These guys are as funny as any British comedy team I've seen. Their sense of humor reminds me of Monty Python. If you enjoy any of those comedy greats, you'll love Fry & Laurie.
