Queer Duck: The Movie (2006)
Member Rating:
Born as a series of three-minute chucklers on Icebox.com (and aired later on the Showtime pay-cable network), veteran Simpsons-producer Mike Reiss' giddily irreverent tale of a homosexual duck (voiced by Jim J. Bullock) determined to re-define his sexual orientation comes flaming to life on the big screen courtesy of director/animator Xeth Feinberg. With special appearances by Conan O' Brien, Mark Hammill, David Duchovny, Tim Curry, Bruce Vilanch, and Billy West, this lightning fast collection of gags, pop-culture riffs, and catchy tunes follows the web-footed, unlucky-in-love fowl as he navigates the sometimes perilous gay scene. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Lots of funny references in this movie! I rented it b/c I love David Duchovny, who voices a role in the film. I forgot all about him and didn't even realize he was the voice of one of the characters. The animation is simple and colorful, just right for the campiness expressed. Don't forget the mini-cartoons under the special features!

Oh my god this DVD is SO friggin funny and witty ... think cross between The Simpsons, The Critic, and Flintstones but for adults ... man the plot is so imaginative I don't want it ruin it for anybody so I'll leave it there...

There wasn't so much fun to this movie, it was pretty bland and didn't seem to move at all. Not so entertaining at all, but it wasnt a complete waste.
