Good performances, but the movie can't make up its mind whether to be a horror flick or a mythological drama. The horror bits are gratuitous, and make no sense within the larger story about the garden of Eden. The sound track is foreboding throughout, whereas it would be more effective to start out pastoral, and only turn dark when the story line turns. With some more imagination, this could have been a very powerful film; instead, it is only average.

liked for some reason although some parts lost me. still entertaining and i liked how it dealt with the garden of eden, adam and eve, and the apocalypse.
