I rented this because I saw Kathleen Beller in a few of the original Hawaii Five -Os and thought she was a great actress. This wasn't my cup of tea.

This story is one of my all time favorite Hawthorne stories and all though made for tv/education film. I feel it was done well for what it was. It is a romantic tragedy along the lines of Romeo & Juliet. If you've read the story or want to broden your english story knowledgebase it be worth a watch. But if your out for a good entertaining movie, your better off moving on.
