Two rebellious young lovers set out on a crime spree in hopes of finding a better life together in this tender, modern-day fairy tale from director Nick Lyon. Sarah (Emma Bing) is a fifteen year-old girl from a small papermill town. Bored by the fact that nothing ever happens in her town and hungry for the love that she can't find at home, Sarah falls in love with Spike - an ambitious, drug addicted rocker who longs to join a band and break big. In order to support themselves along the way, Sarah and Spike collaborate on a series of small-time con jobs. When Spike has a successful audition, he clings to the dream that things can only get better for the hapless couple.     Set in the rainy environs of Oregon and Washington, Punk Love is the story of two forlorn lovers, searching for that elusive Hollywood Ending to the story of their dreams. Sarah is a lost 15-year-old, trapped in an unloving home, in a dreary small paper mill town. When she meets Spike, she envisions a new life for herself. Falling in love, Sarah and Spike go on a crime spree of small-time con jobs, both to support themselves and their drug habit. Spike has dreams of his own, and when he successfully auditions for a band, he can't help but feel that he and Sarah are starting on the road to escaping their ill-fated existence. But just as things are looking up, everything goes uncontrollably wrong, and Spike and Sarah have only their undying love for each other as a means of survival against all odds. In the end, all Spike and Sarah have are each other, and their love for one another, a love that can't be torn apart. Unconditional love. Written by D. Lyon

    This really was a great movie. It is very sad though. Set in a dreary environment, with depressing content. You watch as this couple fall into a pit of hopelessness and its depressing. But the main point of the film is unconditional love and it was really portrayed well. The acting overall was decent, some performance stronger then others. The directing and editing was well done. Overall this is a great little indie film that I would definately recommend to others.

    I really enjoyed this movie! It pulls you in right from the beginning. There's never a dull moment, and you're on the edge of your seat until the very end. On top of that, the ending is a shocker. I wish the movie was happier, because for a few scenes I was definitely on the verge of tears. But I still really enjoyed it! Such a cute yet depressing love story, and I usually dislike romance movies.
