If you can look beyond the fact that this movie was made on a shoestring budget, and the FX reflect the money not spent, you will see a very valient effort made by a young up-and-coming director. The movie's plot is nothing groundbreaking, and the actors could use a few more classes, but the editing shows hints of brilliance coupled with a unique take on storytelling. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie mostly because it made me look forward to seeing another film directed by Bishop, this time hopefully with a much larger budget. All in all this movie won't be for everyone, but if you like independent films with a different take than that which is spoonfed in hollywood this is for you. The movie itself was not too scary; it had a decent amount of gore, some pretty decent fight scenes, a few rather clever one-liners, and all in all a good way to spend 2 hours.
