Paul Mooney: Analyzing White America ()
Member Rating:
Grammy-nominated comic and acclaimed Chappelle's Show contributor Paul Mooney invites white America to take a seat on the psychiatrist's couch and allow him the opportunity to shed some revealing light on issues of race in a probing stand-up act that's as therapeutic as it is side-splitting. Whether the topic be overweight white women's attraction to wiry black men or the ongoing controversy over the "N" word, Mooney always seems to have a logical answer for the problems that plague white America. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Funny, entertaining and crude. And definitely NOT for the politically correct!

For all the years and things this man has had to go through, being able to laugh at it is a true power Paul Mooney has. For anyone who's unable to face the obvious disparities in this nation among the races, this is NOT for you. Those of you who feel "slavery was hundreds of years ago, just let it go..." this isn't for you. Paul Mooney is a comedic genius and if the roles were reversed, it still would be relevant... as long as it's funny. Otherwise, it's just a Michael Richards rant... which was more pathetic than mean-spirited.

You know who wrote the prior reviews...WHITE PEOPLE! Can you get any MORE mean-spirited than 400 years of systematic social, cultural and generational genocide? Why not LISTEN to him in a humorous format? The humor allows you to digest the truth. Open your heart and your mind will follow?
