Take a trip to the streets of San Francisco for a fascinating look at twenty years of graffiti culture in this documentary from filmmaker Nic Hill. Some consider this stylized brand of street art an urban landscape eyesore, while others view it as a colorful expression of life in the city. Whatever side of the fence you fall on, Hill offers an informative take on the history of urban art by exploring the culture from which it has emerged, and offering informative interviews with the artists themselves. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

My favorite scenes are when the SF writers talk about how LA writers come and kill the city over a weekend.. LA Graff is simply some of the best in the world....

This doc took me on a trip through memory lane (lots of pics and videos from early nineties, and late eighties) . Narrated by known graff artists around the SF area so the stories are as truthful as they were heard around the bay area. If you were into graffiti art and were not from the SF area, or were too young to be around for the evolution of the style then this is a must see.....
