While Season 1 had more science orinted plots, season 2 went more for the sci-fi element. There are a few episodes where the plot is lacking. The dynamics of the cast has changed this season as went the show relocated from shooting in california to shooting to florida they changed some cast members. While some of the cast from season 1 are missed there are some great dialogue and dynamics with this new cast, specially or from my point of view with the characters of dagwood and piccalo. i this is a box set i would recommend watching!

compared to season one this is terrible.the captain looks cool in a beard but the crew, stories are worse than ever.seaquest did not need to be star trek but the writers attempted and created a lame alien race along with a lame story arc to go along with it.the bald character is lame, lame, lame

Gary T's comment doesn't make sense. He hated the series yet he watched it on TV and the DVD's. Someone must have forced him to watch. Season two was more SciFi but still good.
