Love the drama of this type of movie. Made me angry, made me laugh, made me cry. And then I went and hugged my man.

This is a movie that will touch even the toughest and hardened movie goer. I highly recommend this story. We all have challenges in life and this story will speak and connect to all who watch. I thought it was one of the best movies I have seen in some time.

From the point of view of the 18-year-old protagonist, Kip, the film depicts his own internal struggles to come to terms with the harsh realities of his past and through them to explore the demons that beset the lives of his family, companions, and finally his lover, Jenny. Kip's friends include gay and apparently bisexual people, who play a significant role in his life. The plot is interwoven in a complex but easily comprehensible manner, and spans three generations of his family. It is moving in its sentiments and wise in its revelations.
