Ted is going steady with Lucy's daughter Chris (Candy Moore) a situation that neither Lucy (Lucille Ball) nor Mr. Mooney (Gale Gordon approves of. To break up the young couple, Lucy applies reverse psychology, suggesting that Chris and Ted should get married.
