This was an interesting film better than the critics made it out to be, great story very different than I expected it to be certainly the ending was a surprise which was good, a type of movie that'll make you mad with the abuse and molesters, the acting was to be expected also which was terrific, the film was a little slow but kept your attention it is a good rent though to watch once but not to buy..................Enjoy.

There is a reason this is straight to DVD: a illogical mess. Gere and Danes are good at acting and the subject matter has some intrigue to it, but it is executed poorly, too many flaws to even get into discussing; both story and filmmaking-wise. Corny, over-the-top non-believable...which is okay for some movie, but does not fit on this one. The ending will remind of Seven only not good, cool, or shocking; just visually. Heck, Untraceable was better than this!
