The movie itself was extremely funny. It kept reminding me of DBZ, mainly cuz the main character is played by Sean Schemmel, the voiceover for Goku in the series. I would recommend this movie to anyone over 17. To sum it up...blood, romance, nudity, innuendoes, comedy, thats the whole movie. Dont let me deter others from viewing this movie, if youre an anime fan, just wanting to try something new, watch this movie...i never even heard of this movie before i started this online service

I ordered this DVD and received the non-anime version with James Caviezel and Sophia Myles twice. I don't know if I will ever get to see the anime version. Maybe you will have better luck than I did. The other version was not bad to watch.

This movie is so weird, and so funny I didn't know what to think of it. The animation is really horrible compared to the kinds of anime I'm used to watching. And I'm not talking about Final Fantasy Super CGI anime. Think Samurai Jack without a competent artist. When the movie first started I almost turned it off. It just looks so terrible and sounds so bad. The character movement is jerky and completely whacked out. But, it is a funny movie. Goofy, but funny. I watched the whole thing. Sometimes wondering why, but I managed to see it all. Most of it makes no real sense at all. And the "nudity" is marginal at best. It is pretty funny in parts but I know I'm not going to see it again.
