Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

An abysmal performance by Kent Faulcon and an apparent lack of research or time spent in the locale by Faulcon, the scriptwriters, or directors made what may have been an interesting and insightful concept almost unwatchable. Straight actors have very successfully turned in great parts as gay men, but Faulcon came across as either unable to play the part or afraid to appear as a gay African-American man for his bio. Some of the scenery and the attitudes did return me for a moment or two to my upbringing in the very Deep South. There were good performances by the other actors, but I regret wasting the rental credit.
