If you tend to like all things anglophile anyway, you will enjoy this wholesome, well acted comedy drama focussed on a young English priest sent to a quirky country community in Ireland. The lead character is so well played that I almost didn't recognize him, later in his career ,as a detective in an Agatha Christie's Miss Marple episode.

If you ever lived in a small town, spent any time in a rural area or wondered what it was like to live that life - no matter where you live or what country - this show captures that feeling. All very well done and acted along with beautiful scenery.
