One of the best movie descriptions I have ever read in a while for a horror film. Box looks great too. Then you start watching this drawn out, confusing and misleading film. If you do make it to the end - you are left in a state of awe wondering when the movie you read about would start. While most of the acting was poor, the only performance I got a kick out of was the old man next door to the couple in this film. Otherwise expect some wind-blown scenes (no wind screens on the MIC) and a backdrop of a wonderful (albeit hourly rate) hotel in this movie. "Behind the Scenes": Check the credits - you'll notice that a few of the actors are listed for crew jobs too! Hillarious. You've been warned.

I don't know why I wasted my time watching the entire movie. Must have been the hope it would get better... it didn't. Slow, boring and bad acting.

I love horror movies, the best recent one being Skeleton Key. The box looks creepy, with an eerie hotel up on a hill. Headstones, etc. Gotta be good, right? Wrong! The "actors" (and I apologize in advance if I offended any real ones,)look like they are doing improv. You know you're in trouble when the scariest thing in a film is a bloody mattress stain in a dumpy hotel. There is no point going on about the audio quality, the lack of any events to advance the plot, or the fact that 70% of the "action" takes place in a tiny room. It's all bad. The older man next door is very charming, and if he seems like your grandfather, it may actually be you grandfather if he happened by the location when they were shooting this dud.
