Sho's life is changed forever in an instant. One moment he is observing a beautiful sunset and the next he is transported to another world; a grey dystopia where resources are scarce, and minions of the evil king regularly kidnap children and train them for military duty, forcing them into lives of killing and destruction. Sho is immediately targeted as a recruit but his will, as it turns out, is too strong. He may be impulsive, but his iron-clad moral convictions prevent him from giving into the violence and hate. Could Sho be exactly what this world needs to revolutionize? ~ Cammila Collar, Rovi

This anime is raw emotion and heart wrenching at times. It is not suitable for young of timid viewers as one female character is rapped, repeatedly.

This was a good, but sad, heart wrenching series. Its a little older, so the animation is kind of simple, but the story and drama let you see past that. And boy is there DRAMA. Like the previous review said, one of the females characters gets rapped a lot, children are forced to kill and murder and the overall lack of humanity at times can kind of disturb you. The series are not labled vol. 1-3, which made me watch them out of order. So the proper order is "Discord and Doom" (vol 1), "Flight and Fall" (vol 2), and "Conflict and Chaos" (vol 3). So all and all, its a pretty good series and only 13 episodes long, so even if you can't stand it you won't waste to much time.
