Synopsis of D.N.Angel [Anime Series]

Niwa Daisuke thinks that the most nerve-wracking thing about his upcoming 14th birthday is going to be confessing his romantic feelings to his friend Risa, but he is in for quite a surprise. What Niwa's mother hasn't told him is that all the men in his family inherit the power to assume an alter ego simply called Dark when they turn 14. With this ability comes an older appearance and sudden masterful skills of thievery whenever one changes into Dark. Now Niwa's mother is pressuring him to steal rare pieces of priceless art by night, while Niwa frets over the risk of turning into Dark in the middle of a classroom by day.
