This spin-off from the Devilman franchise tries a new take on the original series. Here, the main character is a woman named Jun Fudo who finds that she is able to turn into a "devil beast," gaining many strengths and powers in the transformation. Devil Lady diverges from the original premise of Devilman, however, by supposing that her powers are the possible result of a disease called "Devil Beast Syndrome." Jun uses her abilities to fight the brutish Devilmen who terrorize the city streets, even though it appears entirely possible that she and the Devilmen she battles are actually of the same bloodlines, and that Devilmen are actually the next step in human evolution. ~ Cammila Collar, Rovi

Its ok animation. Visually it looks a little earlier to me than 98 but what do I know? Not sure why I have to hunt down the different volumes and add them. They are all just part of one season after all.
