Synopsis of Paheli
A woman must choose between the ethereal love of her ghostly seducer or a life with her uncaring husband in director Amol Palekar's supernatural romance. Beautiful Lachchi (Rani Mukherji) is engaged to a miserly man whose every move is driven by his insatiable love of money. When Lachchi's husband departs for a five year business trip on the night of their wedding, her supernatural admirer takes on his appearance and thus begins an elaborate ruse.
