Synopsis of Galaxy Angel [Anime Series]

The Galaxy Angels are a crack team of determined ladies who have accepted a mission from the government to search for "lost technology." While the real plot tends to take a back seat to wacky humor and extreme silliness, this "lost technology" tends to take the form of toasters and rice-cookers, only to harbor magical or implausible powers. The series is full of references to food, right down to some of the character's names: from Vanilla H to Mint Blancmanche, even Milfeulle's name is based on a French pastry. Galaxy Angel is not a serial show, and the episodes can mostly be watched in any order.
