This 2005 DVD presents the l967 film by von Karajan. It is simply superb. Musically, it is a delight. The cast is excellent. This lavish production is visually enthralling.

Don't even try to get this movie! Four times now I have received "A Hip Hopera" instead of this "Carmen".
