Please Twins [Anime Series] (2003)
Member Rating:
PleaseTwins, while light-hearted, also bases its plot on a fair amount of ecchi. This potential naughtiness, while purely entertaining for its intended Japanese audience, may clash a little more harshly with American taboos. It involves a boy named Maiku Kamishiro who has a picture of himself standing in front of his house as a child with a little girl who is his cousin. Now in high school, Maiku's family is too disparate for him to know exactly who that little girl grew into: he only knows it is one of his two best friends, Karen and Miina. Both girls are in love with Maiku and in the classic indecisive style of love-triangle anime, Maiku is in love with both of them. This creates an issue of potentially incestuous feelings, though Maiku doesn't know which girl he longs for crosses the boundary. This creates the fundamental predicament of the show: all three characters want to discover which girl is in the picture but are simultaneously afraid of what the discovery will mean for their lives. ~ Cammila Collar, Rovi

Onegai Twins (Please Twins) is a fun series to watch. The characters are very likeable, and the story provides plenty of awkward situations which lead to good laughs. There are some touching moments in there too of course. I will disagree with a previous review though... There is an underlying pseudo-sexual storyline and a fair amount of ecchi, so I wouldn't suggest family viewing necessarily.

this is a great series it picks up where the series Please Teacher leaves off. The plot synopsis doesn't do it justice though,as it is partially mistaken about the background relationship (twins not cousins) This title is a little suggestive so I wouldn't recomend it to younger viewers, but if you like anime, this is a great title. Personally I loved it 5 out of 5 stars and, on top of that it's a serious laugh riot!
