    It was a wonderful movie, but scary because I recall being in California during those days. Although it was a bit too long, the cast was great and the story compelling because it is true.

    "Zodiac" manages to be incredibly eerie without being too "in-your-face" terrifying. This film tells the fascinating story behind not only the murders themselves, but the actual investigation. I have a specific review for Mr. Downey, who might have the most interesting character in the film. At some points seemingly under-acted (rather brilliantly, if I might add), the character of Paul Avery proves to be incredibly deep and multi-demensional (and rather grim, as well). Mr. Downey, perfectly genius at everything he does, certainly doesn't fail to deliver and keep the viewer engaged in the plotline. I highly reccomend "Zodiac." Gyllenhaal (another Hollywood Godsend) does a wonderful job at portraying the over-curious cartoonist with an apparent fetish for newspaper clippings. This film has it all: briliant acting, direction, and soudtrack (thanks for everything, Donovan).
