Gloria Romero carried this movie. It may have been too dramatic in some scenes (but then again what Filipino movie isn't) but overall it's a good movie to watch.

Excellent characterizations, everyone is believable in their roles, you will emphatize with the characters. The multi-threaded conflict will keep you glued to the story. Really agreat movie.

My wife just has to watch this movie. She likes all the actors and remembers this was an award winning movie that she had never seen. We tried to get it 3 times, and each time it arrived damaged! ah- got it... a movie for filipina's. Way too much drama for me. Good acting and the story is very believable if you're rich upperClass. Not much comedy, but many cute and heartfelt moments. Garranteed to bring a tear or two.
