I had never seen this version, and was surprised that it was a musical. It was very different from the Disney version - had a desert flavor, and Beauty had four siblings (two sisters, two brothers). Also it incorporated the visits from the Prince to her dreams, which was in the original fairy tale, so that was nice. But there were some problems - like where all the people show up from in the end. Overall, everyone in the family liked it, though!
