I love this movie! Definitely not for the children, though. This movie inspired recurring nightmares that lasted for a good portion of my life. You'll understand after seeing Madame Hecuba. For many years I've searched for this movie and I plan to purchase it as soon as I can.

This version of Jack and the Beanstalk brought my sisters and me sublime entertainment all through childhood, untill my brother taped over it with a football game...Having not seen the movie in 10 yrs, watching it again has been a great pleasure. It contains hilarious songs and amusing animation. This is by far my favorite version of Jack and the Beanstalk.
