The synopsis for this movie is correct..? I thought that this was a good movie, especialy for a direct to video! I didn't think that the movie dragged or was slow. The plot was good and I didn't figure out the killer till it happened. You have to keep in mind that direct to video movies are not going to be nominated for Oscars!! Some people expect to much from the start, thats why these reviews are distorted. Give this movie a chance and I think you'll be happy with it.

The plot was long and drawn out. Very slow moving...rather boring.

This movie was originaly titled "The Good Shepherd" starring Christian Slater and went straight to DVD on March 21, 2006. There WAS a movie titled "Confessor" released in 1973 or 1973 but this is not it. The sysnopsis for this movie is completely incorrect. The correct synopsis according to IMDB.com is - CHRISTIAN SLATER plays a worldly and urbane priest who is forced to challenge his comfortable existence as an ecclesiastical spin-doctor when he comes to believe in the innocence of a young priest accused of murder. His only ally, a journalist, is also his former sweetheart...
