Many will complain that this film is incredibly slow. However, I find that this is a strong point, as it perfectly highlights rural Latin America. Marie returns to the hacienda she inherits from her aunt Oriana. As she roams through the house, she remembers the childhood days she spent with Oriana and uncovers the terrible secret that her aunt hid from her. If you can stomach a magnificently slow film, this is a nice find.

This movie started off slow but I was intrigued enough to give it time-and it paid off! It had enough mystery and a good story to recommend it to others(who have patience).

If you remember real movies, before they were all CGI and needless quick cuts, you'll enjoy this -- its evocative, well acted, with interesting cinematography. If you don't know the kind of movie I'm referring to ... then just pick up a Jim Carey movie.
